Surf Program
Surf Therapy combines elements of aquatic therapy, the ocean and surfing in physical, occupational and speech therapy treatments.
Participants in our programs experience positive outcomes in many areas, both physical and mental. Many participate in both the surf and turf programs. Per parental report, in 2023 83% of participants experienced improvements in strength, 74% reported greater happiness, 70% saw progress in balance, and 65% benefitted from improved posture. Additional areas of improvement were fine motor skills, speech and language development, regulation and social skills.
Turf Program
Hippotherapy is the purposeful use of the horse as a tool in physical, occupational and speech therapy treatments.
