Lauri Burns Founded The Teen Project in 2007 and continues to serve as its Executive Director. Prior to her transition into nonprofit leadership, she was a Fortune 100 Executive, IT expert and certified Project Manager. She is internationally recognized as a motivational and keynote speaker, a national foster youth advocate, author and subject matter expert in the fields of addiction, human trafficking, abuse and foster care. She has led The Teen Project from a start-up to an annual operating budget of over $11M. She has also raised over 40 foster children of her own.
