Suicide Prevention Program- Never Promis to Keep this Secret
With Hope Foundation offers our suicide prevention presentations virtually or in-person to middle schools, high schools, college-aged students, parents, caregivers, educational staff, community groups, and first responders throughout California. Research has shown that suicide can often be prevented through education, awareness, early intervention, treatment, and good postvention care. Our suicide prevention programs are offered to individuals 12 years of age and older. We serve people from all socio-economic backgrounds, cultures, genders, and neighborhoods, specifically targeting middle and high school students. Our Friends With Hope Suicide Bereavement Support Group is for individuals 18 and over and is free of charge. Friends With Hope is a postvention support service for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. This peer-led group is available in person and online via Zoom, providing weekly accessible support to suicide loss survivors in California and the United States. With Hope Foundation also provides critical crisis intervention to individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and/or suicidal ideation. This consists of counseling referrals and financial assistance to Southern Californians who don’t have insurance or otherwise cannot afford support services with a therapist.
With Hope Foundation provides online and in-person school and community-based suicide prevention and mental health awareness programs and community outreach events that reduce the risk of suicide by providing education, resources for help, and tools to implement critical crisis intervention to over 12,000 individuals annually.
