Adult Day Health Care and Community Based Adult Services Programs

IADHS’ core programs and services are dedicated to providing seniors with quality supportive services so elderly residents can live as independently as possible. Our mission, in partnership with families and the community, promotes an environment of health, dignity, and well-being for seniors, disabled adults and caregivers. IADHS is a community rich in preventative healthcare, nutrition services, age-appropriate fitness programs and recreational activities, safe transportation, and community engagement. We are proud to offer a program rich in cultural diversity reflective in our activity calendar, décor, personalized care plans, and languages spoken at the Center. Our experienced team of healthcare professionals develop unique and comprehensive care plans in consideration of individual medical needs, abilities, interests, and quality of life goals. We continue to be the only licensed adult day health care provider in the City of Irvine able to address the critical needs of our most vulnerable and chronically ill seniors. Many of the seniors we support are underinsured, low income and on a fixed budget, have a cognitive impairment, and as a result, are unable to seek necessary medical care and other supportive services. In all aspects of our program, we aspire to creating an inclusive environment based on the following person-centered values that: • Recognize Self Worth • Inspire Hope • Treat every person with Respect • Recognize that Engagement is a sign of well-being • Support Independence Services include Health Monitoring, Nursing Interventions and Care, Protective Supervision; Counseling, Case Management, Caregiver Support; Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapies; Engagement in Recreational & Cultural Activities; Accessible Transportation; and Lunch with friends. Core program staff and consultants include Program Director, Registered Nurse, Certified Nursing Assistants/Program Aides, Social Workers, Activity Coordinator, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Speech Therapist, Registered Dietitian, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Medical Director, and Pharmacist. Other positions include Accountant, Administrative Assistant, Accounting and Services Coordinator, and Executive Director.
