Patient Aid Program

Often parents must miss work caring for a critically ill child making it hard to pay the bills. Megan’s Wings steps in to help with household expenses such as rent, utilities, food and gas so patients maintain stable housing, nutrition and the ability to get to treatment. We help resolve transportation issues, lodging near the hospital, alternative therapy costs not covered by insurance, and funeral expenses when a child has earned their wings. Working. directly with hospital social workers, we identify those patients most in need.
