Primary Medical Care

The Share Ourselves Medical Clinic serves all of Orange County, in particular, the safety net population who are uninsured or underinsured and have little to no options for affordable health care. The clinic provides full-scope primary care including preventive health care, pediatric and women's health services including obstetric care, urgent medical care, chronic disease management, mental health services, and same-day appointments. Share Ourselves treats patients at all stages of life – pediatrics to geriatrics. Comprehensive services include: lab tests; medications; patient education. Screenings include: cancer; communicable diseases; hypertension; high cholesterol; pediatric development; diabetes; depression.

Oral Health Care

The Share Ourselves Dental Clinic serves all of Orange County, in particular, the safety net population who are uninsured or underinsured and have little to no options for affordable dental care. Share Ourselves dental provides diagnostic, restorative and preventive dentistry and focuses on preserving patients’ natural permanent teeth whenever possible. Share Ourselves also accepts walk-in patients for assessment of their dental emergencies. The Dental Clinic provides high quality dental services five days a week, including: education; hygiene; radiographs; fillings; extractions; root canals; dentures; transitional partials.

Behavioral Health Care

Share Ourselves’ Behavioral Health Department provides comprehensive and compassionate care to all Share Ourselves patients that is customized to address the unique concerns of each individual. Behavioral health screening is an area Share Ourselves in particular that we have expanded within our pediatric and Women's Health Programs. Common behavioral health concerns include depression, anger, anxiety, grief and loss, family conflict, relationship problems, school or work-related problems, difficulties coping with life transitions, issues related to substance abuse, difficulties coping with chronic physical illness or injury, stress due to occupational or financial concerns, and trauma and abuse. Counseling services at Share Ourselves focus on the evaluation, treatment, and monitoring of the patient’s specific concerns within a short-term treatment approach. As part of the integrated behavioral health model, behavioral health providers are part of the patient’s health care team, working together with primary care providers to support a whole person approach to wellness. Services include: child play therapy; individual therapy; family therapy; group therapy; Spanish-language services; community resource referrals; medication evaluation and monitoring in coordination with primary care provider

Social Services

Share Ourselves' Social Services Department has a number of services and referral sources to assist individuals and families with what they made need to maintain or regain stability. Direct financial assistance is available in a limited capacity for basic necessities including rent, utilities and transportation. Volunteers and staff interview individuals seeking financial assistance, in addition to other aid we provide, and offer referrals to public and private agencies that may offer additional support. Share Ourselves Food Pantry is open Monday through Friday, 8am – 4pm., distributing food bags on a walk-in basis. Photo ID is required, identifying individuals as OC residents. If there is no valid identification, a bag is provided however they are asked to bring proper identification on a return trip. For recipients experiencing homelessnress or at risk – we can provide foods that do not require refrigeration and are ready-to-eat. For patients with a chronic condition, such as diabetes, food bags can be customized to provide foods that are better for their health needs.

In 2023 thousands of patients were assisted and managed by our Social Services department including 95,000 bags of food that were distributed through the Food Pantry.
