PROGRAMS
Transitional Shelter and Supportive Services
The Transitional Shelter program provides housing, basic provisions, counseling, and a range of supportive services, including mental health services, case management, housing navigation, career development services, financial literacy and life skills development, and youth development programs.
The program goals are to: 1) provide stability and safe residences for families to remain together; 2) empower economic self-sufficiency through supportive services offered to residents; 3) educate families on the importance of maintaining their mental health and well-being; and 4) foster a supportive environment where families can thrive together.
Homeless Prevention Services
The Homeless Prevention Service program empowers low-income families with children to remain in permanent housing. The program provides supportive services such as career development, housing navigation, budgeting assistance, community resources, life skills development and parenting classes, and youth development programs.
The program goals are to: 1) support housing retention and stability; 2) empower economic self-sufficiency through supportive services; and 3) enhance family resilience and well-being to help families thrive together in long-term, stable housing.
Youth Development Program
The Youth Development Program focuses on the physical, social, and emotional well-being of at-risk and low-income children and youth. The program provides onsite mental health counseling (individual and group therapy), tutoring, mentoring, life skills workshops (self-esteem, nutrition, drug prevention, and more), and enrichment activities.
The program goals are to: 1) improve their academic standing; 2) demonstrate improved mental health status; 3) increase their physical activity; and 4) increase their understanding of career and life development tools, volunteer opportunities, post-high school opportunities, and independent living skills.
Mental Health Services
Mental Health Services addresses the physical, social, and emotional well-being of individuals served through its programs. The program encompasses individual and family therapy and crisis response.
The program goals are to: 1) provide onsite access to mental health services; 2) deliver high-quality care services to at-risk and low-income families; 3) educate families, including their children, on the importance of maintaining mental health care; and 4) foster an environment where residents feel empowered and equipped to break the cycle of situational homelessness and generational poverty.
