Mr. Jeff McBride

CEO/Executive Director Experience

Jeff McBride has a rich history of service and leadership in the communities he has touched. Jeff has served the YMCA for over 25 years in multiple operational and leadership positions, coming to Orange County from Fort Bend, Texas where he managed three large YMCA’s as Group Executive Director. As a YMCA executive, he served as Vice Chair of the Strategic Plan Board Development Committee, Chair of the Major Facilities Conference Committee, and Senior Program Director for the Downtown YMCA in Dallas. Jeff ‘s passion for service and community development is also exemplified by his participation and leadership in many community groups, including the Katy Independent School District Leadership Council, Partners in Education Group, and Grace United Methodist Church Council. McBride received a Bachelor’s Degree in Rhetoric from the University of California Berkeley and a Master’s Degree in Theology from the Dallas Theological Seminary. He is a graduate of the Rice University Executive Education “Leading and Managing High Performance Teams” program and the Lee Hecht Harrison “Strategic Directions Class.” He is also a graduate of the YMCA Executive Development program and a member of the Association of YMCA Professionals. As YMCA of Orange County President and CEO, McBride oversees a $30-million enterprise which includes 7 fitness facility locations and over 100 community program locations throughout Orange and Riverside Counties and the San Gabriel Valley.
