Drug and Alcohol Free Women's Shelter
Alcoholics Anonymous – Meditation and three daily meetings and a sponsor is required of each resident Life Skills Building and Empowerment Tool Kit for Healthy Well Being Structure for Living 1. Immersive12-Step Program of Recovery Attend three meetings daily Consistently work with a sponsor Actively engage in step work Practice daily prayer and meditation 2. Health and Wellness Health-focused meal planning Participation in resident garden Comprehensive personal care Guidance to health services through community partnerships Psychological and physical well-being classes 3. Life Skills & Self-Respect Psychological and physical well-being classes Establishing routines that promote physical and mental well-being Reteaching fundamental life skills such as cooking, cleaning, household management 4. Employment & Self-Sufficiency Phase 1 – After 14 days in residence Access to computers, internet, and printers for resume creation and online applications Resume building and job applications Support for in-person job search 5. Phase 2 – 31 days to 6 months Secure employment and begin paying rent Volunteer service within The Lynn House Serve in the community and outside 12-step meetings
