Healing To You
OUR STORY
When someone escapes violence, healthcare is rarely their first thought. Safety comes first. Survival comes first. Medical and mental health needs are often postponed until symptoms become urgent or overwhelming.
Healing To You was created for that moment.
We bring trauma-informed medical and mental health care directly into communities across Orange County so survivors do not have to navigate complex systems alone. Through mobile clinics and trusted community partnerships, we provide primary care, counseling, advocacy, and safety planning in spaces where survivors already feel protected.
For many of the individuals we serve, this is the first time they are met with care that understands both the physical and emotional impact of abuse. Children exposed to violence receive support early. Parents receive care without fear. Survivors are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
We believe healthcare can be a turning point. It can restore stability, strengthen families, and help survivors begin again.
Mission Statement
Healing To You provides comprehensive medical and mental health services to adults and children impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. Our goal is to close the gap in access to healthcare services to promote well being and heal the impact of trauma.
Healing To You envisions a future free of violence in the home for children and adults to be able to thrive in life. We hope to interrupt the generational cycle of abuse by providing supportive services early.
Background Statement
Healing To You is a nonprofit community health organization established to address a critical gap in healthcare access for survivors of violence and underserved families. Survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and human trafficking frequently experience delayed or interrupted medical and mental health care due to safety concerns, transportation barriers, financial hardship, and fear of retaliation. Traditional healthcare systems are often not structured to respond to the complex realities survivors face.
Our organization was founded to create a coordinated, trauma-informed model that integrates primary medical care, behavioral health services, and victim advocacy within one framework. Rather than referring survivors across disconnected systems, Healing To You delivers comprehensive care that addresses physical health, emotional wellbeing, and safety planning simultaneously.
Today, Healing To You operates through two primary service platforms: our Mobile Healthcare Program and the Wilmington Comprehensive Community Clinic, which opened in Fall 2025. The Mobile Healthcare Program delivers integrated medical and mental health services throughout Orange County and surrounding communities through scheduled partner site visits, outreach events, and referral-based deployments. The Wilmington Comprehensive Community Clinic serves as a permanent, community-based site providing adult and pediatric primary care, mental health services, and specialized care for survivors. Telehealth further expands access for patients who cannot attend in person.
Healing To You is the only known community health center in California with a fully integrated clinical team dual certified in both domestic violence and sexual assault response. Our providers are trained in forensic protocols, crisis intervention, and multidisciplinary collaboration, ensuring survivors receive care that is clinically rigorous, legally informed, and designed to reduce retraumatization.
In Orange County, we deliver services through mobile healthcare outreach and community-based partnerships, bringing care directly to shelters, resource centers, and trusted community sites. This approach increases access for Medi-Cal eligible, uninsured, and underinsured residents who may not otherwise engage in traditional clinic settings.
Healing To You exists to ensure healthcare is not another barrier for survivors. It is a pathway toward safety, stability, and long-term healing.
Impact Statement
Healing To You delivers mobile, trauma-informed medical and mental health care across Orange County, bringing services directly to survivors of violence and individuals experiencing housing instability. Our fully equipped mobile clinics operate through on-site partner visits, scheduled outreach events, and referral-based deployments that respond to identified needs. This flexible model eliminates transportation barriers and reduces delays in care.
Through partnerships with Orangewood Foundation, WisePlace, Human Options, Radiant Futures, and HIS-OC, we align healthcare access with established violence response and housing stabilization systems, integrating care into trusted community networks.
Between April 2024 and July 2025, our mobile healthcare program provided 1,300 medical services and 1,471 mental health services, serving 485 unique patients across Southern California, with 68% of all services delivered in Orange County. An additional 285 community members were reached locally through outreach events that expanded access to screenings, prevention education, and direct care.
Patient trust and engagement are measurable. 97% of patients reported satisfaction with their care, and 91% indicated interest in returning. 26% reported they would not have accessed healthcare without Healing To You. Transportation support was provided to 30% of patients, and 20% received childcare assistance to ensure continuity of care.
This year, we are expanding our mobile model to include a Mobile Sexual Assault Response Team (mSART), increasing access to forensic examinations and evidence-informed care within community-based settings. This expansion will strengthen survivor choice, improve timely access to trained forensic clinicians, and reinforce Orange County’s coordinated response to violence.
Healing To You strengthens Orange County’s safety net by integrating mobile healthcare into established community systems. Investment expands coordinated care capacity and reduces critical access gaps for vulnerable families.
Needs Statement
Survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Orange County face significant barriers to timely medical and mental health care. Many delay or avoid treatment due to safety concerns, transportation challenges, housing instability, fear of encountering their abuser, or lack of trust in traditional systems. For individuals experiencing homelessness or living in transitional housing, access to consistent healthcare is even more limited.
Sexual assault survivors often must travel to hospital emergency departments for forensic exams, which can involve long wait times, unfamiliar environments, and additional emotional stress. Survivors who do not wish to immediately report to law enforcement frequently have limited options for confidential medical care outside hospital settings.
These structural gaps result in untreated injuries, unmanaged chronic conditions, delayed trauma intervention, and missed opportunities for early evidence collection. Children exposed to violence are particularly vulnerable to long-term physical and psychological consequences when services are not accessible early.
Orange County has strong victim service and housing stabilization programs, yet healthcare access remains a persistent barrier within this coordinated system. Mobile, community-based medical and forensic services are needed to close this gap, increase survivor choice, and ensure timely, trauma-informed care for residents who would otherwise go without it.

Statement from the CEO/Executive Director
Healing To You is the only known service provider of its kind in California, combining comprehensive trauma-informed medical and mental health care specifically tailored to survivors of abuse and assault. Every member of our team is dual certified in domestic violence and sexual assault response, ensuring that survivors receive care that is clinically skilled, safety-centered, and deeply informed by the realities of violence.
Children are often described as “too young to understand or remember” the trauma they experience. Neuroscience tells us otherwise. Exposure to violence alters brain development, shapes attachment patterns, and influences long-term physical and emotional health. Without intervention, children who witness abuse are at higher risk of entering abusive relationships later in life, developing maladaptive coping strategies, and experiencing chronic health challenges.
Our work is rooted in interrupting that trajectory. Healing to You exists to break cycles of violence by providing early, integrated care that addresses both physical and emotional trauma. We support children and adults in reclaiming safety, strengthening resilience, and building healthier futures.

Statement from the Board Chair/President
On behalf of the board of directors of Healing To You, I am honored to share our commitment to improving the lives of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse in Southern California. Healing to You has been a beacon of hope for those who have faced unimaginable trauma, providing essential medical, mental health, and advocacy services to those who need it most.
As we look back on the incredible impact HTY has made through its mobile healthcare program and our expansion with the Wilmington Comprehensive Community Clinic (WCCC), we are reminded of the profound difference our work has on the lives of survivors. Yet, the need for services continues to grow. More and more survivors find themselves in crisis, isolated and unable to access the care they deserve.
Our mission to provide trauma-informed, accessible, and comprehensive care remains unwavering. But to meet the increasing demand, we must rely on the generosity of donors, partners, and supporters who believe in our work and understand the urgent need to invest in the healing of survivors. With your support, we will continue to expand our reach, enhance our programs, and ensure that every survivor has the resources they need to rebuild their life.
We are proud of the work we have done, but we know that there is so much more to be done. Healing To You’s success depends on people like you—individuals and organizations who are willing to stand with survivors and help make our vision of a healthier, more compassionate future a reality.
On behalf of the board, thank you for your continued support and for believing in the power of healing and transformation.
