CEO/Executive Director Experience
Cari Teran is a licensed marriage and family therapist and has over 25 years of working with children and families that have been exposed to trauma and/or abuse. Cari's specialties include treating infants, children and adults for trauma, child sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, ADHD/neurodivergence and maternal mental health. Cari is the Vice Chair of the California Governor's Child Abduction Task Force and a member of the Los Angeles Child Abduction Task Force and has expertise in child abduction recovery and reunification. Cari has been trained in multiple evidence-based treatment modalities for infants through adults who have been impacted by trauma.
