Transportation Assistance
A NICU stay can mean weeks or months of daily trips to the hospital, and many families simply cannot afford the gas money to be there. In February 2026, Miracle Babies launched transportation assistance in Orange County, using a rideshare-first model alongside our existing San Diego program. This gets parents to their baby's bedside from day one while we gather real usage data to guide how the program grows.
In 2025, Miracle Babies supported 183 families with 2,043 rides delivered. With the Orange County launch, 2026 targets are 250 to 300 families supported and 2,500 to 3,000 rides delivered across all three counties.
Mental Health Support
NICU trauma does not end when a family leaves the hospital, and many parents have nowhere to process it, especially in their first language. Miracle Babies offers weekly bilingual support groups and one-on-one therapy in English and Spanish, delivered virtually to reach families across Orange County, San Diego, and Los Angeles County wherever they are.
In 2025, Miracle Babies delivered 57 group sessions with an average of 20 participants each. In 2026, we are targeting 90 group sessions at 80 percent capacity or higher, with participant satisfaction at 90 percent or above.
Supportive Services
Some of the most important support a NICU family receives happens right at the bedside. Through Miracle Hours and care package distribution, Miracle Babies provides hands-on presence and essential goods to families at our partner hospitals, easing the financial and emotional weight of an unplanned hospital stay.
In 2025, Miracle Babies hosted 42 Miracle Hours, engaged 358 families, and distributed 1,269 care packages. Hospital partner satisfaction remains strong, with a 2026 target of 90 percent or higher.
