PROGRAMS
The Resource Navigation and Case Management Program
Provides individualized, high accountability support structured around 30-day stabilization benchmarks and participant centered service plans. Case managers assess housing, income, safety, legal barriers, education pathways, public benefits access, and family stability indicators. Provide housing navigation services by guiding women through complex housing pipelines, including (CES, HMIS, CALAIM, HUD,). The goal is measurable progress within defined timeframes, not open-ended service engagement. This disciplined framework enables NWNC to track housing stabilization rates, income growth, employment retention, and crisis reduction with precision.
Target 150-200 women
The Workforce and Career Empowerment Program
Operates in structured eight-week cohorts designed to advance wage mobility and employment durability. Participants receive job readiness training, career coaching, employer networking, credential pathway guidance, and structured job placement support. Our objective is not simply employment placement but measurable income progression and retention. By aligning workforce development with real time stabilization needs, the program ensures that employment gains translate into sustainable housing outcomes rather than temporary improvements.
Target 150-200 women
The Roadblock Removal Model
Delivers flexible financial assistance ranging from $250 to $1,500 per household to address immediate destabilizing expenses such as rent arrears, security deposits, certification fees, childcare deposits, car repairs, utility arrears, identification replacement, and employment-related costs. Rather than distributing generalized aid, NWNC conducts structured eligibility assessments to determine the specific barrier threatening stability and deploys targeted resources designed to preserve housing, employment, or income continuity. This approach recognizes that a relatively modest intervention at a pivotal moment can prevent far more costly public system involvement.
Target 100-250women
